About OYSIPA
To ensure the development and enhancement of public infrastructure, public assets, and other facilities, the government of Oyo State established the Office of Public Private Partnerships (PPP).
In 2014, this office evolved into the Bureau of Investment Promotion and Public Private Partnerships which later became the Oyo State Investment and Public Private Partnership Agency (OYSIPA).
This transformation occurred when the Department of Investment Promotion in the Ministry of Trade, Investment, and Cooperatives merged with the Office of PPP. The goal was to improve the State's investment climate ranking, ease business start-ups, and strengthen Public Private Partnerships.
The core mandate of the Oyo State Investment and Public Private Partnership Agency(OYSIPA) is to create an expanded economy by transforming the state from an agrarian to a multisectoral economy

Promotion of investment and economic activities by providing bespoke solutions to investors.
Vision
To make Oyo State the fastest growing economy in Nigeria.
Objectives
- Promote policies and transparent procedures that enable the government to work with potential and business partners to develop natural resource and assets of the state.
- Carry out capital and risk planning and management Oversight
- Develop appropriate institutional and regulatory framework for investment and facilitation in the state;
- Articulate clear growth strategies for providing needed support and appropriate incentives to grow the local private sector and enlarge the economic base of the state in line with the priorities of the state;
- Develop the implement a comprehensive strategy and action plan to attract and facilitate new investment in the state.
